"A FIREMAN WOUNDED.
Private L. C. Hart, of the 16th Battalion, who is reported to have been severely wounded, is the eldest son of Mr. C. Hart, of Torrens-road, Alberton. He was employed as a fireman, in the South Australian railways, and left his position to join the forces in October last. Private Hart was 23 years of age. His only brother is now on his way to the front." - from the Adelaide Advertiser 25 Sep 1915 (nla.gov.au)
