Son of James Glenn and Elizabeth (nee Treweek) Glenn of Terowie, later of Herbert Street, Albert, SA; brother of Alice Isabella Glenn, Catherine Gertrude Glenn, Laurence Watson Glenn who returned to Australia on 1 July 1919  having served with the 6th Field Artillery, Mary Elizabeth Glenn, Gerald Anthony Glenn, Dorothy Irene Glenn and Eileen Veronica Glenn
