Son of John Hogg and Gertrude Hogg of Marulan, NSW. Brother of Lance Austin Hogg who returned to Australia on 10 March 1919 having served with the 1st Divisonal Ammunition Column and the 5th Field Artillery Brigade

Commenced return to Australia on 3 December 1918 aboard HT Port Hacking disembarking on 27 January 1919 at Melbourne for onward travel to Sydney

Medals: 1914-15 Star, British War Medal, Victory Medal
