'Wounded in Action.

Mrs C. A. Braund, of Port Victoria, has received advice that her husband, Private Braund, was dangerously wounded in Egypt on October 31. This is the third time Private Braund has been wounded in action.

Advice has also been received that Corporal W. G. Braund was wounded in action in Egypt on October 25th. The Braund brothers, Cyril and Bill, enlisted in June, 1940, and went overseas together in November, 1940.' from The Pioneer 27 Nov 1942 (nla.gov.au)
