7 Aug 1915: Wounded AIF WW1, Trooper, 314, 8th Light Horse Regiment, The August Offensive - Lone Pine, Suvla Bay, Sari Bair, The Nek and Hill 60 - Gallipoli, GSW to neck, face and shoulder sustained during the charge at the The Nek. Evacuated to Egypt via HS Delta however died of his wounds three days later on 10 August 1915 and was buried at sea.
