8 Aug 1915:	Wounded AIF WW1, Private, 2117, 7th Infantry Battalion, The August Offensive - Lone Pine, Suvla Bay, Sari Bair, The Nek and Hill 60 - Gallipoli, BW to arm and foot sustained at Lone Pine. Evacuated via HMHS Devanha, where he later died of his wounds en-route to Egypt on 12 August 1915 and was buried at sea. First taken on strength of 7th Btn on 5 August 1915.
