8 Aug 1915: Wounded AIF WW1, Private, 2138, 7th Infantry Battalion, The August Offensive - Lone Pine, Suvla Bay, Sari Bair, The Nek and Hill 60 - Gallipoli, GSW to head sustained at Lone Pine. Evacuated to HS Neuralia where he died of his wounds two days later on 10 August 1915 and was buried at sea.
