Son of John O'Donohue and Ellen Nora O'Donohue nee Hickey of Emerald, QLD.

Next of kin given as his sister Kate Edwards of Ash Street, Barcaldine, QLD.

Between 16 June 1919 and 21 July 1919 he had leave with pay to gain wool experience with the S. Wolsley Shearing Machine Company of Birmingham, England.

Commenced return to Australia on 8 September 1919 aboard HT Raranga disembarking on 29 October 1919 at Sydney for onward travel to Brisbane
