Clarence Cregan

Clarence Cregan was linked to the Cook family of Majors Creek NSW. His father Theodore Cregan came to Majors Creek to mine for gold and married Mary Jane Cook. The original Cook Family arrived in Majors Creek in the early 1850's following the Gold Rush in that area.

Clarence is believed to have been born in the village of Majors Creek but his birth registered in the nearby town of Braidwood NSW. The family at a later date moved to Enmore in Sydney NSW.

Clarence Cregan will be remembered in a special commemoration in the ANZAC Day Service in Majors Creek in 2025.
