Son of Daniel QUIGLEY and Jane nee COSTELLO

Brother of Patrick John Quigely who returned to Australia on 11 December 1917 having served with the 50th Battalion; Thomas Andrew Quigley who returned to Australia 12 July 1919 having served with the 50th Battalion; Joseph Quigley who returned to Australia on 23 March 1919 having served with the 32nd Battalion 

Daniel had attempted to enlist late 1916 early 1917 but was found to be underage.

Commenced return to Australia on 12 January 1919 aboard HT City of Exeter disembarking on 21 February 1919

Medals: British War Medal, Victory Medal

On 22 October 1923 Daniel married Myrtle Veronica Webb in St. Laurence Church, North Adelaide.

Post war Daniel was employed with the South Australian Railways.
