Thomas was born as Anthony Geroadus VELTMAN in 1895 in Perth, Western Australia
His parents were Anthonius Geerarbus VELTMAN and Florence May BARKER
His brother George Valentine VELTMAN (SN1734) was Killed in Action on 6th February, 1917
