  • 40481 Private Harry Leslie Barnes - 3rd A.I.R. (New Zealand Forces) returned (1886);
  • 53894 Private Edwin Barnes - 28th Battalion (New Zealand Forces) returned (1890);
  • 565 Private George Barnes - 7th Battalion killed in action Shrapnel Alley, Gallipoli 26th May 1915 (1891) and
