"YOUTHFUL HEROES.
Private L. Fairlie (right), and Private J. Parsons, two Adelaide boys, who have seen active service and are now stationed at Weymouth, England, until they become 19 years of age. They have both been wounded and have asked permission to go back to France, but the authorities will not allow them to do so until they are nineteen. In the meantime they have their "little jobs" at Weymouth." - from the Adelaide Chronicle 29 Dec 1917 (nla.gov.au)
