Biography contributed by Robert Wight

Pte 2105 Eric Boyd Armstrong was killed in action on 25 August 1915 during the attack on Hill 60. He fell during the advance and his body was not recovered as the Battalion didn't return to this area. Shell fire ignited stubble in the field and the ensuing fire burnt many of the fallen.

He is remembered on the Kerang War Memorial.
