Family History

Thomas' mother and father were a son and daughter of immigrants from England. His mother Sarah outlived his father Fred. They lived in Guernsey St., Scone, NSW. Thomas was born there on 25 Nov 1894. He was just 22 when he joined the AIF, enlisting on 19 Jan 1915. First posted to the 6th Australian Light Horse Regiment, he was transferred to the 46th Infantry Battalion on 12 Sep 1916.

Thomas was killed in action at the first battle of Bullecourt on 11 Apr 1917 and has no known grave
