8 Aug 1915: Wounded AIF WW1, Private, 2184, 7th Army Service Corps, The August Offensive - Lone Pine, Suvla Bay, Sari Bair, The Nek and Hill 60 - Gallipoli, During the charge at Lone Pine in August informant was near Robinson whom he knew very well. Robinson was wounded (in the arm he thinks it was) and informant took him to the dressing station and left him there. the wound did not appear serious and that was the last he saw of him. he heard however he had gone to Egypt and his letters were forwarded there. 15 Aug 1915: Wounded AIF WW1, Private, 2184, 7th Infantry Battalion, ANZAC / Gallipoli, On the Saturday afternoon August 8th at Lone Pine, Gallipoli, he and I were among bomb throwers and were side by side at the back of the third line trench when he was hit by a bomb from the Turks. Afterwards, I saw him taken away on a stretcher to the dressing station near the second line trench and that is all I know. He never spoke after he was hit as far as I can say.
