ARTHUR NORMAN TETLEY who died of wounds at Anzac on 8th August 1915 was the son of Mr. William Tetley. He was born in 1889 and entered the School in 1903. He left School in 1906, and at the outbreak of the war he was a farmer on King Island.

He came to Victoria at once and enlisted, joining the 8th Light Horse.
He sailed on 25th February and left Egypt on 15th May. He was in the front line, of advance in the great charge of the 8th Light Horse on 7th August and was severely wounded. He died next day.
