Brother of Edward Quinlivan who returned to Australia on 7 April 1919 haveing served with the 4th Machine Gun Battalion and Joseph Edward Quinlavin who returned to Australia on 30 August 1919 having served with the 5th Pioneer Battalion

Commenced return to Australia on 10 April 1919 aboard HT Medic disembarking on 27 May 1919
