"Faithful Unto Death."
AUSTRALIAN SOLDIERS DIED FOR THEIR COUNTRY.
Private GREGORY PEREZ, according to a message received by Mr. and Mrs. F. G. Gillett, of Freeling, was killed in action in France on September 26. He enlisted from Salisbury, S.A. He was employed as cook for the officials on the construction of the Salisbury to Long Plains railway. His brother was killed in France. He was attached to the 8th Machine Gun Company, and sailed from Melbourne on October 29, 1916.
