Stanley Delphus Dalley MURRAY was born in 1888 in Moss Vale, NSW
His parents were Solomon Kennedy MURRAY & Mulildah Vernon CLOUT who married in 1888 in All Saints Church of England, Sutton Forest, NSW
He had served previously in the 9th Light Horse in Gilgandra before enlisting to serve in WW1 on 20th October, 1915

Three of his brothers also served during WW1
1. Horace Edward MURRAY (SN 6772) - Killed in Action on 4th November, 1917 (13th Infantry Battalion)
2. Richard Theodore Collie MURRAY (SN 39523) - returned to Australia in 1919
3. Sidney James MURRAY (SN 374) - returned to Australia in 1919
