"THE LATE PRIVATE KLOPP.

Private A. Klopp, of the 16th Battalion, who was killed in action on August 10 at the Dardanelles, was the third son of Mr. W. F. Klopp, Semaphore. He was 25 years of age, and well-known to Portonians as an amateur boxer and bicycle rider." - from the Adelaide Chronicle 02 Oct 1915 (nla.gov.au)
