Charles Spurgeon HOLLAND was born in St Germains, Victoria in 1892
His parents were Joseph Newton HOLLAND & Barbara RUDD
A GOOD AND FAITHFUL SOLDIER SADLY MISSED BY ALL
He enlisted in Shepparton on 14th July, 1915 and embarked from Adelaide on the HMAT Ceramic on 23rd November, 1915 with the 8th Infantry Battalion, 12th Reinforcements - he was transferred to the 14th Infantry Battalion
Charles died of wounds in France on 28th August, 1916 and is buried in the Warloy British Communal Cemetery Extension
