Biography contributed by Faithe Jones
BAIN—In loving memory of our dearest brother, Robert Marshall, killed instantaneously by a shell at Moquet Farm, France, on 25th August, 1916.
Peaceful at rest he slumbers,
Who fought for the cause he loved ;
One of the countless numbers,
For freedom to shed his blood.
Inserted by his loving sisters and brothers-in-law, B. M. and G. Skene ; also A. and L. V. Edgar, and nephews Robbie, Ronald and Walter and little neice Lesley Joyce.

In the hearts he left at home.
