CRAGG.—In loving memory of our dear son, Private William Leslie Cragg, died of wounds at Etaples, France, June 1, 1916. Four years have passed since that sad day That our dear son was called away;
God took him home, it was His will,
Forget him, no, we never will.
You are not forgotten, Willie, dear.
Nor will you ever be;
As long as life and memory last
We shall remember thee.
Inserted by his loving mother and father,
S. and T. Cragg.
CRAGG.—In loving memory of our dear brother, Private William Leslie Cragg, who died of wounds at Etaples, France, June 1, 1916.
Sadly we are thinking of our soldier brother brave, Who fought, and died for his country, and won a hero's grave.
Inserted by his sister and brother in law,
F. and T. Ryland.
CRAGG.—In sad and loving memory of our dear brother Willie, who died of wounds in France, June 1, 1916.
He has finished his part, we must still keep on,
Trying, like him, to be brave;
Our sacrifice is in what we have lost,
His was in what he gave.
He has borne his cross, he has gained his crown,
Though he lies in a far-off grave,
And we think of his life, a duty done,
Manly, unselfish, and brave.
Inserted by his loving sister and brother-in-law, F. and G. Wickins.
