O FOR A TOUCH OF A VANISHED HAND & A SOUND OF A VOICE THAT'S STILL
May 1917 -Mr. and Mrs. K. McKenzie, of Darlington, have received word from the Defence department that their second son. Sergt. Arthur McKenzie, has been wounded in the fighting in France. Sergt. McKenzie left Australia with the First Expeditionary Force, and was first wounded at Gallipoli.
The defence department also notified that their eldest son, Pte. K. W. McKenzie, is suffering from shell shock.
