Son of William James and Maria Elizabeth COOPER, Kingewarra Street, Dubbo, New South Wales. 

News has been received of the death of Private Frank Cooper, son of Mr. and Mrs. W. J. Cooper, and brother of Mr. W. Cooper, of  the Western Stores, Ltd. This sad event occurred in Egypt, and the details to hand are of the most meagre character. Deceased  enlisted in Dubbo, and sailed for the front a few months ago, and prior to his death was in training in Egypt. Captain-Chaplain C.  Wesley, of Dubbo, has had it officially reported to him that No. 812, Private F. S. A. Cooper, 2nd Mining Corps, died of disease on  the 11th June. The report went on as follows:- Please inform Mr. W. J. Cooper of Carrington Avenue, Dubbo, and convey to  him the deep regret and sympathy of their Majesties the King and Queen and the Commonwealth Government in the loss that they and the army have sustained by the death of this soldier-(Signed) Colonel Luscombe.
