Son of Edward George and Annie Bridget Medlen, of Balaklava, South Australia.

Sick-Berth Steward Lindsay James Medlen, of Fifteenth street, Bowden, was a son of Mr. Ted Medlen and the late Mrs. Medlen. He was 20 years old  and was previously employed at Holden's.
