2571 Private Edward McKenzie, 39 Civil Servant and husband of Margaret nee Daly of 71 Archer Street North Adelaide. Embarked at Adelaide on RMS Morea 26 August 1915 as member of 8th Reinforcement, 16th Infantry Battalion. On 11 April 1917 he was wounded and captured at the Battle of Bullecourt, was repatriated to England on 17 December 1918 and returned to Australia 28 April 1919.
