Son of Henry William and Sarah Ann Frisch, of West Reserve, Warrnambool, Victoria, Australia.
IN MEMORY OF THE LOVING SON OF MR. & MRS. FRISCH OF WARRNAMBOOL, VIC.
An official notification was forwarded to Archdeacon Bennett yesterday from the Base Records Office that Private H.W. Frisch died of gunshot wounds in the back and abdomen on the 17th inst. at the 17th Casualty Clearing Sation in France. The sad news was conveyed to the family by Rev. A.G. Horner. The late Private Frisch, who resided at the West Reserve, was employed at P.J. McGennan and Co.'s factory for about 7 years, and was highly esteemed by all who knew him. His younger brother is still on active service.
"Hen" as he was popularly known, was a clean living, manly young fellow of sunny disposition, and was regared by all who knew him as a splendid young man. He sailed on 29th September, 1915, for Egypt, and thence to France, where he ultimately participated in some gigantic struggles. A younger brother Alf, is at present on Salisbury Plains en route for the front.
