Son of George F. Owen and May H. Auld formerly Owen of Elswick Street, Leichhardt, NSW.
Commenced return to Australia on 23 March 1919 aboard HT Cluny Castle disembarking on 21 May 1919 at Adelaide for onward trravel to Sydney.
Spent several years travelling through SA, QLD and finally WA where he died.
