Sergeant Fowler 425009 was killed in the loss of Lancaster JA852 over Germany - other crew: ORD (Sergeant) 1148096 RAF / PALMER (Sergeant) 1583498 RAF / DAVIES (Flying Officer) 134694 RAF / GRAHAM (Sergeant) 1161124 RAF / WILSON (Sergeant) 1080434 RAF / WILLIAMS (Sergeant) 1604637 RAF
He is commemorated in Brisbane along with his brother, LAC Harold F. Fowler 76056 who died 31 March 1945 aged 21 years (date of discharge 12 February 1945) - not eligible for CWGC. LAC Fowler was formerly with the RAAF Chemical Research Unit
Their parents were Peter Charles and Helen Fowler of West End, Queensland
