He is commemorated in Brisbane along with his brother, LAC Harold F. Fowler 76056 who died 31 March 1945 aged 21 years (date of discharge 12 February 1945) - not eligible for CWGC. LAC Fowler was formerly with the RAAF Chemical Research Unit

Their parents were Peter Charles and Helen Fowler of West End, Queensland
