Son of William and Margaret Huthwaite of 'Grantham', Cameron Street, Banksia, NSW.

Brother of Rupert W. Huthwaite, Gordon J. Huthwaite, Vincent Roy Huthwaite who was killed in action on 3 April 1918 while serving with the 12th Field Ambulance and was buried in Warloy-Baillon Comunnal Cemetery Extension. Plot V111, Row E, Grave 30, and William E. Huthwaite
