Corporal Yvonne Warren Keyser (Service No:99685) enlisted in the RAAF on 22 May 1942 and was attached to 4 Personnel Depot (Staff) when she was Discharged on 22 December 1945.

Born in 1923 in Wagin WA, Yvonne was the eldest of three children of Osmond Detwiler Keyser (b1899 in Albany, WA) and Amelia Euphemia Georgina Warren (b1905 at Chapman nr Geraldton, WA). Osmond (a Telegraphist with the PMGs Department in Mullewa) and Amellia married in 1922 and lived in Mullewa, Wagin, Perth and Gerladton until 1935 when Osmond started working for the WAGR in Harvey WA. The family then lived again in Mullewa before Osmond and Amelia settled at Greenmount in Mundaring WA. Osmond served in the AIF WWI and the RAAF in WWII.

Yvonne married John Charles Schmitt (b1919 in Adelaide, South Australia) and they settled in South Australia and raised their family. In 1963 Yvonne was living briefly in Perth WA where she worked as a Manageress before returning to Adelaide. John died in 1988 and before her death in 2004, Yvonne moved to Warragul, Victoria
