Charles Simpkins (1895-1956)

Charles Simpkins enlisted  for WW2 service 16 Dec 1940.

He subsequently served New Guinea, with 17 Graves registration unit where he was Promoted to Staff Sergeant. Returned to Australia 1944.

Served in Victoria, Australian War Grave Maintenance Unit, until discharged, 21 January 1947.

Medals 1939/45 Star, Pacific Star, War Medal, Australian Service Medal in additin to his WW1 service medals.
