Son of John Samuel Quick and Emily Jemina Quick nee Waring of Longfield Street, Cabramatta, NSW. Brother of Sydney John Hammond Quick who returned to Australia on 22 February 1919 having served with the 2 Pioneer Battalion

Commenced return to Australia on 15 January 1919 aboard HT City of Exeter disembarking on 12 March 1919 at Melbourne for onward travel to Sydney.

Medals: British War Medal, Victory Medal

During 1924c Stanley married Stella D. MacGurren in Rockdale, NSW.
