Sergeant S. J. DAVIDSON, son of William and Frances Davidson, of Bridge St., Gawler South, South Australia, was killed in action in France on April 24. The deceased soldier (who was rejected five times) enlisted in Western Australia, arriving in England in December last. He was, at the time of enlisting, first assistant at the Government school, Albany, W.A. His brother, Private R. H. Davidson, is on active service in Palestine.
