The Nek, Gallipoli Peninsula, 7 August 1915, 4.23 am. An eerie silence falls. Commanding Officers and their men look to each other in confusion.

Imagine holding your breath, your eyes glued to your watch, for seven minutes knowing something is just not right. Knowing that when the final minute ticks through, that the odds of seeing the sun rise on that day were stacked against you.
