About Cleve Area School
At Cleve Area School we have developed and abide by the Positive Behaviours for Learning (PBL) CREW values of Care, Respect, Enthusiasm for Learning and Working together as a strong united team.
We strive for excellence and we work in partnership with our community to deliver a quality service to our students.
One of the many positive aspects of our school is the enormous support, involvement and cooperation we gain from parents, families, businesses and the general community.
We have a cohesive staff team, focusing on positive relationships, caring about our students and caring about each-other. Our strategy, to move our school from ‘Good to Great’ involving staff, students and parents working together has helped us to improve outcomes for all students.
As a school we continue to provide a balanced, comprehensive and progressive curriculum. We offer pathways that prepare students for tertiary studies, traineeships, employment and for life beyond school. Students can complete all their secondary studies at Cleve and enter University if that is their plan. Our school has a proud history of students undertaking tertiary studies, traineeships and almost all have been gainfully employed after completing year 12.
Improving Literacy, Numeracy skills, student achievement and well-being has continued to underpin the learning activities across R-12.
